Aagje Barber, President of the Cherry Creek School District Board of Education, received the 2008 McGuffey Award from the Colorado Association of School Boards. The award, which honors outstanding school board members for their committed and passionate service, was presented to Barber at the Nov. 10 Board of Education meeting.... full story

FASB Fitness Festival Hits Half Million Milestone

The 8th Annual First American State Bank Fitness Festival, held Sept. 6 in Greenwood Village, raised $70,000 for the Community Asset Project (CAP), which serves as partners with the Cherry Creek School District. Proceeds from the event are used to promote positive youth development.... full story
